My 1 yr old is due to start the nursery in a month and would like to know if anyone has there children at the nursery or thought about putting there children in this nursery. Im asking as I feel the outside space is very small very very small and have some concerns with the lack of space. Please let me know if you have any feed back about this nursery. Thanks

Hi Angie84,
has your child started at Noahs Ark?? I recently went to see it and yes I agree the outside space is non existant, however a few days before I went to Bowed Park Nursery, who have a much larger outdoor space, but their rooms seemed smaller. I'm signed up to start my dd at NA when a space becomes free but am also looking at other nurseries and wondered where you sent your little one in the end!

My DS, now 19 months, attended NA from 5 months to about 15 months (he was in the baby room). The standard of care was good, the NNs lovely (Cheyvonne, Litsa, Helen, Oslim, Andree all marvellous). The owner Efi lovely also.

I moved DS for two reasons, neither to do with the standard of care:

  1. a place at Woodside Children's Centre came up - much bigger garden
  2. this sounds a bit silly but I found some of the other parents quite rude - they never spoke, even tho our babies spent all day together. This was not everyone by any means (in fact in contrast several were also very pleasant) but over time it started to tick me off a bit.

At the Children's Centre DS goes outside every day, gives every impression of loving it, and the difference on average in the number of parent 'hellos' is amazing.

So the Children's Centre suits me better, personally - but NA was perfectly good.
