Monkey Puzzle, sTREATHAM

Hello Everyone.
I was just wondering if anyone has sent their child to Monkey Puzzle Nursery on Garrad's Rd in Streatham? I'm thinking of sending my daughter there but wanted to hear from other people about their experiences. Good/ Bad etc. The ODSTED says it only got satisfactory (May 2010) but I think that could be because it has only just set up and is still getting things in place? Also, I know that OFSTED doesn't take everything into consideration. Sometimes you just have a feel about a place. Any thoughts welcome.

I have two friends whose children were at Monkey Puzzle. My first friend registered quite some time ago, when they were just setting up, and liked the place and the woman who showed her around. She said her daughter really enjoyed it, and interaction with other kids, but she was always sick with various infections/colds etc. But I hear that is par for the course when they start ANY nursery

The other friend had her twins there, from what I gather also happy. But they have subsequently left London so twins no longer there.

I met someone at one of the mums and baby groups in STreatham who said that she did not register her child there because she didnt like the woman in charge, and went to Abacus Streatham instead.

Good for you! At least it seems that there are no other concerns apart from whether or not you like the woman in charge! Let us know how it goes, I am still looking around at various nurseries and childminders so any feedback is good. Good luck, hope your little one loves it!
