Nurseries near Hilton, Derbys

Does anyone have any recommnedations for nurseries in Etwall, Hilton, Hatton area. The one I hoped for is full until Sept 2011 and whilst I have found others they all have immediate vacancies which is worrying me slightly. Was hoping for some feedback from anyone who has baby in nursery locally or has had feedback from friends?

My Daughter (1 year)goes to a nursery in Etwall, Derbyshire. It has recently been taking over in April. It use to be called Happy days but is now Brookfields. Its a lovely little nursery all on one level.The baby room is very clean and tidy and has its own play area, changing room and sleep room. The numbers in there are kept low i think most days there are 4-6 babies and its a very homely environment. The staff there are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble, the new owners have really worked hard to turn the place around, my daughter never wants to leave!

Thanks for that..it was on my list to go and have a look at originally but then I heard some negative reports about it (not sure if they related to when it was Happy Days though). Also they said on the phone that they had lots of places which made me wonder if it was ok as all the others in the area have a few months waiting list!

All the nuseries wher I liove have immediate vacancies - it is just the way life is. In areas where the recession had hit jobs hard less people are working and sending their child to full time daycare. Derby is quite likely one of these areas. Don't let it worry you.
The nursery I chose got negative response from some people I know, but both my 2 love it there and I am very happy.
