Research: How are families navigating the first smartphone decision?

Hello,

I'm Tanita, Head of Marketing at Voop: The first mobile network built for the whole family, giving children the freedom to connect while helping families build better digital habits together.

Before we launch, I'm speaking directly to parents to understand how families are navigating the smartphone conversation: what's working, what isn't, and what would genuinely make a difference.

I'm looking for UK parents of children aged 8-14, particularly if you're:

  • Currently deciding whether to give your child their first smartphone
  • Already navigating life with a child who has one
  • Or have actively decided not to

I'd love to have an informal, 30-minute one-on-one conversation with you. The more parents I speak to, the better we can build something that truly serves today's families.

If you're interested, please sign up here: https://voop.to/mumsnet

Thank you for your support,
Tanita

I can tell you how I am NOT managing it.

It would be great if you incentivised people to do this such as the chance to win a voucher etc... 30 min of peoples time for nothing vs 30 mins of peoples time with the hope of something back is different!
