The social research agency Revealing Reality is currently working on a project for the Department for Transport about people's experiences following road traffic collisions, with particular focus on the financial costs.

As part of this research, we are looking to talk to parents whose children have been involved in a collision (of any level of severity) and the financial impact this may have had on the family. These conversations will help us make recommendations to the government that hopefully will create safer roads for parents and their children.

Taking part would involve an audio-recorded conversation with one of our trained researchers, lasting up to two hours in your home, or wherever you feel most comfortable, at a time that suits you. We of course realise that talking about your experiences can be distressing and difficult, and so the conversation would be conducted flexibly and you would be able to take a break or withdraw from the research at any time.

Anything you tell us will be pseudonymised as well and we will not collect any personal data.

As a thank you for taking part, we offer £100.

Thank you for your interest in the project. Please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected] if you have any questions.
