Thank you for taking the time to complete this questionnaire. I am an HND Computing student carrying out research for a college project exploring how AI and online technology affect children’s safety and well-being.
Your answers will help me understand how parents feel about a range of online risks, including grooming, scams, sextortion and deepfakes, as well as the impact that social media and technology can have on children’s identity, behaviour and mental well-being. The responses will also help me explore how confident parents feel in managing these risks and what support they believe is needed to better protect children online.
All responses are completely anonymous. No names or identifying information are collected. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will be used only for my coursework and will not be shared outside of this project.
