Hi, am looking for some advice from anyone that has been please as just starting to plan this trip.
A few questions below that I would appreciate some help with -

  • Planning on doing 2 days at Disney while there - would you recommend staying for 4 nights or a week? The main purpose of the trip is Disney but is there enough to do on the other days to stay for a week?
  • We are going to fly to Paris and then get a taxi - is it difficult getting luggage from taxi drop off point to accommodation without a car?
  • Would the above be easier if we stay in one of the apartments rather than a cottage?
  • Any other tips very welcome

We are 2 adults and a 4 year old

Thanks in advance

I went a few years ago with the family. There was loads to do there, paid and free activities, so you can easily fill the time. Swimming was included and they had a petting farm that was also free. We also fed ducks in the lake and loved walking up to get our fresh croissants from the bakery each day.

They had little electric golf buggies to hire in advance, for getting around the resort. Might solve your luggage transport issue if they still have them. If not, the paths were all designed for the buggies, so wheeled bags can be moved easily.

Unless it's changed over the past few years, there wasn't an official shuttle bus to Disney, it was a paid local bus. We had a car so didn't see how reliable the bus was.

We booked via Disney so stayed in one of the apartments and were able to pick up the park passes from a desk at the resort. The apartment was amazing! The shower was the best one I have ever experienced, and we had a balcony overlooking the lake where we could dine alfresco.
