I need some pyjamas for me that don't need ironing and have no pockets or buttons. I'll need quite a few so can't pay a great deal per pair. Can anyone help me out with this, please?

Go to any big supermarket with a clothes section. And nothing "needs" ironing!

Cyberjammies have jersey sets that I’ve bought in the past and last well.

Chelsea peers are pricey but last for ever and you can get some in the sale. I once got a bit obsessed and had too many so sold my least favourite ones on vinted.

Chemenger · 12/10/2026 10:57

Why would you iron pyjamas?

Do people real iron pyjamas?

notantordec · 12/10/2026 19:39

@JoeSikoraTommysStory yes I can’t stand crushed pjs.

You iron pj's? You don't want pockets in your pj's? What is this witchcraft?

ifonlytheydlisten · 12/10/2026 20:51

Next and M&Sand yep never iron pjs

Shein. I got several set, they're not cotton of course but wash and dry easily and no creases.

CluelessAboutBiology · 12/10/2026 21:57

I have occasionally ironed pyjamas. Some cotton pyjamas feel stiff unless they’ve been ironed, especially if line dried.
Sainsbury’s Tu is quite good for pyjamas. I don’t like buttons or fastenings on pyjamas either.

i bought these in Sainsbury’s a couple of days ago https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/product/tuc147954765

I had an ex who made me iron his SOCKS because his mum did!

I hate that womens PJs have no pockets, but none need ironing anyway

bababamama · 12/10/2026 22:12

Any large supermarket will have them, primark otherwise

I don't possess an iron. I admit though, that some things - crisp white shirts. for example - do look better when ironed, so I don't buy those garments.

Look on Amazon; most of the pyjamas are advertised as 'day wear, sleepwear, loungewear' and the pockets are useful for 'tissues, keys.' I only sleep in mine so I don't need pockets - they bunch up under my hips and annoy me when I'm trying to sleep, so I have to sew them up and remove them, which is a faff.

I once lived downstairs from a woman who ironed terry nappies. It was a wonder to behold.

I gave up trying to find pyjamas without cartoons or stupid slogans and now buy soft cotton long t shirts (size up) and if needed in winter, thin cotton leggings.
