Tips for newbie to NHS (band 2)

I'm starting as a band 2 on general medicine ward and hoping to apply to Nursing Associates Apprenticeship Degree once I've worked there for a while.
Any advice on just usual things, what should I be aware of what are the u written rules lol? Im super passionate about becoming a nurse.

Congratulations on your appointment! Just be friendly, maintain confidentiality at all times, don’t get involved in gossip, be nice to absolutely everyone from the domestics to the hospital managers. I have recently retired after a 40 year career as an NHS nurse and have had a fantastic career.
