Can anyone recommend newborn ear defenders for the UK Motor Show?

i’ve booked tickets for the UK Motorshow this year for my partners birthday but our newborn will be a month old. I’m looking for new born ear defenders so that baby can be as comfortable as possible with her ears protected. Can anyone recommend any specific product and brand?

Can you leave the baby with a family member? I can’t imagine taking an unvaccinated newborn to such a crowded place. 🥴

Alpine Muffys if you really have to take baby

On second thought, I think the bits that go over the ears will be far too big for a newborn

Why would you even consider this?

I’m sorry I love cars but this is a bad plan. Your partner needs to go alone and you need to recover from birth and prioritise the baby’s safety. They won’t even be vaccinated.
Really I get where your brain is at, when I was pregnant with DC1, I thought we’d do campervan touring from about 2 weeks postpartum! 😂 Then I ended up with an EMCS and couldn’t stand for prolonged time or walk far or drive for about 8 weeks pp and sleeping was impossible as DC was a very sick baby and it all goes out of the window when a real baby arrives and needs care.

Sure someone will come along to tell you they discharged themselves straight into a helicopter to Nepal and climbed Everest with a 1 day old baby but that’s not the reality for most.

it’s my third baby, and I went hiking when my son was four weeks old, a car show when this one will be 6 weeks old doesn’t worry to much as long as we stay away from the noisiest exhibits and her ears are protected.

You can go out with an unvaccinated baby!

I think a day out with a 6 week old is doable for most, as long as everyone is willing to be flexible.

I’ve used Alpine Muffy baby ear defenders for a baby and they seemed to work ok. A bit fiddly to get on them but I imagine fine if you have another adult to help.
