Epidural Query

Hi all, I’m due to give birth in 6 weeks for the first time (hopefully naturally all being well but I’m open to anything that will ensure a safe delivery) and I’m pretty open to pain relief etc. I did hear however that having an epidural can cause long term back pain, has anyone who has had an epidural suffered with ongoing back pain or were you ok?

I have had 2 births, had epidural for both.
I've had no issues with back pain.

Having an epidural was a very positive experience for me. I had long labours with both of mine so it allowed me to sleep and made me a lot more calm during birth.

I'm pregnant with third and have told the midwives that I'd like an epidural.
