Hi all, I'm new so I'm not sure if I'm doing this s correctly.
My 13yr old step daughter has sent an inappropriate video of her self to a lad she was allegedly going out with a while ago, so I went on her phone last night and it looks like she is now having inappropriate conversations with another lad similar age, she can't take photos due to me blocking the camera, so last night she kicked off with me and said I don't respect her privacy, when I asked her for her phone about 2 weeks ago she deleted certain messages knowing that's what I was going to check . So to me she is either hiding something or up to something, her dad is siding with her but I don't fancy the police turning up a the door because she has been sending inappropriate photos/messages, am I in the right or wrong. Thank u for reading and any ideas or advice. xx

Consider me old school but she's too young to be owning a smart phone. People seem to underestimate the impact of them which is so worrying. I would take it away and give her one of those phones for just texting and calling. Also what kind of father would know that's what his 13 daughter is doing and he is fine and siding with her.
