Im desperate for baby #2. Im 32 (almost 33) and SO is mid 30s too. We have a 5 year old and live a good life style. We aren’t rich, but we also aren’t on the breadline but we do live month to month with no savings.
SO opinion is that we can’t afford a baby. My opinion is no one can really afford a baby, you make do. My main concern isn’t money though, it’s the fact that we have no help with childcare. I get a certain amount of help from my grandmother, and we get a certain amount of help from his parents, however we still struggle to make time for each other. We both work full time.
im really struggling and can’t help but feel he’s taking away my opportunity for another baby and im scared ill leave it too late and then it won’t be an option anyway.
