i had the nexoplanon fitted in December last year but had it taken out 8th June 2023 due to ongoing bouts of pelvic and back pain,
i had taken 5 tablets of Metronidazole but had to stop taking them due to the side effects, a few days later I was in so much pain down below, itching, burning and my vagina was red raw. I went to the gp they treated me for thrush, with a peccary, cream and a tablet of Fluconazole, this helped but I needed another tablet of the Fluconazole as I was still experiencing some itching but not as bad. 2 weeks later I felt like it had gone, then the start of august it’s back with a vengeance itching, burning sensation inside vagina and a lot of thick clear but white streaked discharge I have tried another Fluconazole but nothing has worked. Iv been screened for usual stds but nothing advanced. I’m panicking it’s something serious.
My last swab last week said negative for thrush, I’m going out my mind, so sore, itchy and the burning is horrendous. My doctor is useless and hasn’t swabbed for anything else. Haven’t been sexually active since last august. Is anyone able to advise on what this could be. I am currently not on any birth control since June.
