Bi Fold Doors

Hi, some advice please... we've just had a kitchen/diner extension and installed bifolds, which I love.. the only issue being (and this would have been the same with sliding doors I guess) I like to have at least 1 of them open pretty much all of the time and it's the flies and insect issue...I've tried the ultra violet contraption but it didn't work and I'm wondering now about the electric zapper..they're not cheap however and wondered what if anything anyone else uses...I've currently got a pretty nice net curtain which lets air and a lovely breeze in especially when they're all open but the whole point of the bifolds was to kind of let the diner and garden flow so a net curtain spoils the effect a tad...

Can I ask where your bins are? Mine are near the back door and if we leave that door open, the flies coke straight it. It doesn't happen with other windows or doors.

Phew..thought I was being gaslighted.. lol...no, bins are outside nearer to front door so not that...I do have 2 cats and a dog but clear up after them. I've bought a zapper now but doesn't seem to be a lot of good.

Sorry, can't help with the question, but you'll get more responses if you ask for the thread to be moved to the property and DIY section. Also - you've had a name-change fail!
