Dress for a reception - opinions please

I have a wedding reception at 7pm to go and I just would like to know your opinion in this dress :)

Honestly I think it’s quite dated looking, maybe a pic of it on would be better, however it’s fine for an evening reception.

It's very dark for a summer wedding but if you like it, wear it!

I did changed for a bit shorter and less "old lady" dress and enjoyed myself.
