Hi I'm a mum of one 16 month old boy and I'm currently 7 months pregnant. I've always loved interior design and taking photos and now I'm a stay at home mum I want to begin my own career path in something I can still spend most of my time with my children. So I've been watching allot of vloggers and thought is that the way forward? Isit really a realistic goal and can I make a living from it. I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to social media so please please help me!

If you are 'completely out of the loop' with social media it's perhaps not a great idea to choose it as a career! 😁

Firstly congratulations on your second pregnancy and secondly your going to have your hands full when the baby comes along so do you think it’s a good idea starting up YouTube as a career? As it’s a very time consuming job when it comes to shooting and editing and also costly if you want everything perfect. I would be totally honest with yourself if you don’t have much of a following I think you should just stick with action growing one, when I say this I mean to say is, as you already like taking photos stick with that and interact more in social media like Instagram that’s great to start off with and engage with your people by doing live videos of when your out and about and get to know who’s watching you that way they would like your content and then interact with you more and get to know you and then you should start YouTube when you have people that would actually watch you.
Hope that helps x
And good luck with two
It’s bloody hard work haha
I have two also lol

That's good advice. I think your both right maybe I'm biting off more then I can chew starting off with a career down that path right now. I should probably being trying to get a following first. .... Does anyone else have a 18 month and a newborn and work? How do you do it? I'm in about of a precidament really as I left my last job aftery maternity finished as I moved areas. I wasn't planning to fall pregnant again i was planning on finding a new job around now ... Obviously things have changed with a new baby coming and no job security. Has anyone got and advice or ideas on job roles I could take up and how to manage childcare and costs. I have experience in reception work also domicillary care but both are not great paid jobs and child care is so expensive. My partner earns 32k per annum so means we earn over the amount to receive any bennifts now. We have a mortgage to pay for and all the usual costs for a family. Thanks

Do it! I love watching family style vlogs. Check out little bit Lisa on YouTube or 'wright at home' my two favorite.
