Hello all. I am a working mum of a 2 year old daughter, living in the Reading area, and am new to Mumsnet. I currently live in Tilehurst but we're thinking of moving to Burghfield Common. I wondered if anyone else lives in this area and could tell me what's out there? I don't drive so am reliant on the 2 / 2a bus route to get me anywhere. I've had a look at the local area - library, schools, recreation ground etc and it all looks very nice but a bit spread out. I'd like to find out a bit more about the local community and what's out there for toddlers, on Wednesdays (my usual day off work) and weekends, and also would like to know how to meet other mums in the area. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you
