My DS is 8 months and he would have this, just don't add salt

Marcus17 · 16/09/2018 14:44

I haven't added salt I never do when cooking for my son I only add salt when it's on my plate but I don't add salt to my corned beef hash as there is salt in the corned beef hash thank u I just wasn't sure coz of being a first time mum

At 10 months old, baby can eat everything you do, with the exception of honey.

It’s lovely to watch them eat at this age.

It’s important to give them a wide variety of flavours and textures.

Yes it is I just panic because corned beef has a lot of salt in it and being a first time mum doesn't help lol so I thought I would sign up and see if anyone could help me so thank u for your help to

Sounds like a perfect meal for a ten month old baby. Quite fancy it myself!

Marcus17 · 16/09/2018 22:01

I get a casserole dish cut the corned beef up place it on the base of the dish then when the bottom is covered I put beans on top then onion and then the mash and cheese and it taste so much better than mashing it all together

Sounds delicious.

I make similar but use mushrooms instead of onions as my dc all ‘hate’ onions

Might have to make it this week!

Marcus17 · 17/09/2018 09:29

Almost identical to you but i mix the mash and cheese together first, plus add add paprika and chilli powder.

Do you have a slow cooker? You should try campfire stew - similar flavours but uses gammon instead of corned beef.
