Hello everyone, need your opinion on this. DH and I are planning to move out of London but with not so great a budget we are looking at Ashford. Honestly do not know do much about the town but have visited bridgefiel in Kilingsnorth area which seem lovely. DH lectures currently in London and he is happy to commute however I have a 5 years old and a 17 weeks old so currently on maternity leave. I would like to go back to work but certainly cannot make such commute due to child care. Would like to know what's it's like to live in Ashford, school choices for kids now and in the long term, what areas are nice to live except for kingsnorth and in terms of job what is on offer and how far off can I work and still make it back on time to pick the kids. I work in the social care sector with people with learning disabilities as a deputy manager but thinking of possibilities if we move. Thanks for your input on this.
