Hi guys,

I need some advice regarding my partner we have been together for 5yrs.. at the begging of the year I nearly ended it due to my partner not pulling his weight with the finances and not having a proper job. He begged me not to leave telling me he would get a job and contribute more........ so that was 5 months ago and guess what nothing has changed he hasn't had one job interview or evan looked for a job and as for the money he is still as bad ... so I'm thinking enough is enough and chucking him out I feel like his taking me for a mug and his not gonna change.

Sounds about right. You know what to do.

Bin him off immediately

The phrase you are looking for is cocklodger.

Be careful when you chuck him out he doesn't get nasty.

Hi Bobcat - I had exactly the same with exP. Lasted about 8 years. Over time I just lost respect for him - he was a cocklodger and lazy too , I did 90% of the housework. He only did anything if I asked/ nagged. We had a DC together - I get no maintenance - but he swans by to be lovely super dad.
Things won't change. If you don't have DC with him then definitely don't.
I was a mug. It took me long enough to realise it. I'm glad i asked him to leave. But still angry more at myself for having put up with it for so long . You don't have to.
