So I'm a FTM with a 7 week old girl, last week under the advice of my HV I put her on Aptamil Comfort milk to help with constipation it's working thank god !! I only want to keep my LO on it for a couple of months, when I decide to return to Aptamil 1st milk do I need to wean my LO off the comfort milk? If so how do I go about this ? Thank you in advance

Hello again, is there a reason that you only want to use the comfort milk for a couple of months?

It's only until her digestion system matures a bit was only recommended 2 months on it for her by HV

My little one is 17 weeks and we now use 2 scoops comfort milk and 4 scoops normal.

We experimented with different ratios and thos is what suits her best. Once she's weaning anr therefore getting fibre through food we'll probably switch to all normal first milk.

Thank you I'm guessing that's still one scoop per oz of feed
