6 years on nexplanon now ttc!

This is first time posting on one of these websites just looking for some advice !
I have been on contraception since I was 15, the pill then the depo injection then most recently the nexplanon implant for the last 6 years! I had it removed in January 2017 and ttc with no luck so far. I know it can take a while for your body to get back to normal but I have had very regular periods since having it removed although each month they only last 3 days, extremely heavy and extremely painful to the point I haven't been able to move. Would like to know if anyone else has had this experience. Any answers much appreciated :)
