Parent and baby groups Chiswick

Hi!
I am a first time mum in early 30s and have just moved to Chiswick. Could anybody recommend and parent and baby groups in the area? I'd just like to meet some new mums like myself for coffee and cake, gossip etc! My son is 8 months. I used to live in Camden so this is a big change for me! But love this area.

Hi Mel, I just moved from Chiswick (miss it!, it's a lovely area... still go there often!), my baby is exactly the same age!

The NCT websitr for the area lists a few groups that meet regularly, perhaps contacy the NCT branch?

Also, there are baby activities such as Heartbeeps and Gymboree that could help with meeting other mums, and will keep your little one entertained! Check the local pools too, they have baby swimming lessons.

Enjoy Chiswick. The play areas are ace, restaurants and cafes are lovely. Have an ice cream in Odonnos for me ;)

I can see its been over year since you posted this, I hope you are settled in to w4 and have found lots of fun things to do. My partner and mother of our child was in in a similar situation this year. She has now actually started her own fun creative and social workshops (I think thats how she describes it) called Merry Mums.
