Advice which Grammer school for boys is best

Son has qualified for places and Options available now for Colchester Royal boys , west cliff boys and Southend boys. Can someone recommend the best one from a parental point of view.

Which is nearest to you? Southend and Westcliff are close to each other but Colchester is about an hour's drive away from them

We live in Colchester and have a very strong chance with Colchester. I just wondered if I can get off the record advice from any parent who has had experience with these schools. Tnx

Ah I see. I've known children who have attended all of them. All excellent. Have you visited? Which does your son prefer? Personally I would think it mad to have an hour's commute down the A12 and A127 in rush hour but each to their own!
