Newbie from west Sussex

Hi everyone. I'm new and have a 14 month of girl. I live on my own most of the time as my partner works away and have hardly any friends so am hoping to meet local mummies here! Just gone back to work this week - scary! Looking forward to saying hello to some of you x

Thank you. I just have. I looked at the threads and most are old from a year or two or more and the ones people we looking for friends have just that one comment sadly. I don't hold out much hope that mumsnet will help me to meet any mummies. I don't go out with any mummies as they all seem to have their own friends already so no one ever calls me and everyone is always busy or cancels. It's a bit frustrating and knocks ones confidence. Who knew being a mum would mean no friends.
