Newbie help needed, 4 week old started throwing up after feeds, can this be reflux?

I'm a first time mum and My LO is 4 weeks and 5 days and bottle fed (formula). About 4 days ago she started vomiting after her feeds. Sometimes it's a lot and sometimes it's just spit up. She doesn't really cry or seem In pain so I'm not sure if it's reflux or not. I'm now panicking she's going to throw up in her sleep and choke as she is so quiet when it happens! it can sometimes be an hour afterwards. The strange thing is her 3am feed (which I do as the OH works) she hasn't yet brought it up as far as I can tell. After each feed I sit her upright for 30 mins too! Any help would be great!

My now 14 week old is similar. My eldest was very pukey and I thought we'd escaped it with this one. Oh no, he just waited for it to kick in.

Don't be traumatised about what comes up even if it's your last clean t shirt. If she continues to gain weight ok and isn't distressed, there isn't much that will be done. They do, eventually grow out of it. M

Thank you for replying Jenijrna. It's just horrible to watch. I find myself watching her while she sleeps and any noise or movement she makes I'm having to check her just incase.
She's put on 10oz in 2 weeks. The HV that weighed her said she was still on her curve but to go next week just to confirm. Does feeding little and often make any difference?

Mine have both been bf, not sure if that makes a difference. I'm finding that if I feed ds1 any more than every two hours, it feels like most of the feed comes up. It really is alarming to watch but he usually gives me a big smile afterwards.

He can sometimes, mid feed, throw up most of it and go back for more. It doesn't necessarily mean full tummy...

the hv for DS1 suggested feeding little and often, failing to understand that I was feeding all the time anyway. Gp was more sympathetic though.

Get muslins, lots of muslins.

Re the being sick at night, mine are aiways turned their heads to the side, so that doesn't concern me so much. But I am not a health professional!

At this stage, no one minds checking over your baby so do ring the GP or contact your hv if you have concerns

She is exactly the same except on the bottlez she makes no noise and it really doesn't seem to bother her at all. Only it has once when I think it caught her off gaurd.

I certainly have plenty of Muslins. I may invest in some more though.

HV can be very matter of fact I have found. They just give you the general advice. Which didn't really help me at all.
I can use google for that.

Mine has her head to the side too but she does have her head straight up occasionally. She hasn't of yet though so I think I'm just panicking.

I'm going to call the GP in the morning I think just to put my mind at rest if anything.
