The assessment process is brutal. You have to dredge up all your autistic failures and relive them in gory detail. It takes a good couple of years to start to recover from that.

It is really damaging to your self esteem to admit you have significant deficits

It was not at all damaging to admit I have significant physical deficits due to my hypermobility but was for executive function and social communication . Routine wasn't so bad to discuss emotionally.

Find things you can't and don't do because of your autism and list them.
