Just need to vent. My lovely DP had to leave work today as a carer in a care home after he had what sounds like autism burn out / overwhelmed. He's worked in NHS for 15 years in several jobs although for the first half of this struggled with his mental health in ward environment as a band 2 HCA ( before his diagnosis). How last job was a band 4 support work which he seemed to enjoy had just enough independence and social connection , bit he was made redundant in march. He got a minimum wage job in July but was fired for am admin error. And now he's been told he needs to step up to to be a senior but he says he's only shadowed a senior for half a day ( over two months) so is doing general care role.
He says after lunch today he just felt really confused and disorientated and started behaving oddly and speech was corehert. His fine at home now , just a bit quiet. If he gets fired from this job I don't know how he will find another one! Im just so angry no one can see the very smart , kind, empathic, creative person . He has so much potential but 'fails' at everything
