what has worked for you? autistic DD has waist length super thick hair. Whenever she washes it she uses conditioner and tries to comb/brush it through but there are always lots of mats and knots. I always offer help but mostly it’s refused. I think a wide toothed comb is better but she uses a hairbrush. Any recommendations please?
