Anyone taking Concerta XL and willing to share their experience?

I've just been prescribed concerta xl ..I was wondering if anyone taking it could tell me what to expect,in the early days and long term.
I've never got on with any antidepressants,so I probably a bit anxious hoping the same doesn't happen with this .
But I'd like to hear how others found it please

In the early days I had terrible dry mouth and lack of appetite but that settled after a couple of weeks. Now I've been on it for a while, I feel much calmer in general, less fight or flight response, I am able to see tasks through rather than getting distracted and starting something else, I can listen better without getting agitated. I recently went on a flight and was not panicked at all, when I usually would be. I don't think I'll ever want to stop taking this drug!

Currently I'm on day 3 of 18 mg .on day 14 I move to 38 mg .
The first day I was very calm and felt like I had taken cannabis
But the next two days I just feel incredibly sleepy,which is also how I end up after cannabis or alcohol.
Hopefully the sleepiness will pass ,as I'm very quiet and feeling even more away with the fairies than I usually do

I'm really hoping the lack of appetite kicks in soon ,as I just seem to have the stand at fridge and graze type of munchies

I have been on Concerta for the last few weeks and had a med review today and will be upping to 72mg which I believe is a high dose.
I have pretty much felt the exact same on it since I started tbh. Really thought medication would be life changing but I’ve tried Elvanse and Concerta now and not had any positive changes. Starting to think I’m just a lazy person tbh loool

@FuckKnowsMatee really hope the higher dose helps ..have you not felt tired on it at all ??,I could of happily slept all day today
