What’s the best Right to Choose provider?

I’ve finally accessed the right to choose through my GP ( South London)

I was told I had the choice of various providers. I’d heard of ADHD 360 but they have a waiting list of 6 months, so I asked if any providers with shorter times. The woman didn’t give me any guidance on how I could make a choice. She just said that Health Harmonie was the shortest.

she said it was approved, so I said I may as well go with that.

however I’ve just gone online and found horrendous reviews for them. Almost every one gives 1 star. (The rest are 5 star, which makes me think the few good reviews are fake)

they obviously have no waiting list for a reason.

is it too late to change? I haven’t made an appointment yet.

how do I fix this? And can anyone recommend a decent provider which has a reasonably short waiting time?

My gp refered me to psychiatry-uk it was 12 months from referal to diagnosis. Would recommend. They kept me informed all the way through it.

Thanks @Porkwithapplesauce . I’ll ask about them. Have been horrified reading the reviews on Health Harmonie

I was diagnosed with Vertis last month. Wait time from referral to assessment was 10 weeks, and (importantly) I got medication the same day. I understand some providers have a separate post-diagnosis waiting list for medication.

I've just been diagnosed with ADHD with PsychiatryUK via RTC/NHS GP and have been impressed with them. I was contacted by them to complete pre-assessment forms mid February.

Good luck.

Just been diagnosed with ASD through Psychiatry UK. The wait wasn’t too long only a few months, and I got to choose which doctor to carry out my assessment (you can see their credentials and reviews). I chose someone who understood how it presents in women, and he was lovely made the process a lot easier for me. Highly recommend them.

Whilst the wait was a over 13 months for medication, Psychiatry UK is very good and thorough. I waited about 6 months for initial assessment and diagnosed there and then in same appointment. Didn't have to do part 1 and part 2 like some providers. I'm about to move over to shared care now
