I was diagnosed with inattentive ADHD in 2019 and am on the waiting list for an ASD assessment.

I've been so highly masked for years and am trying to peel that back slightly. So these are some things about me.

I can majorly focus on the wrong thing so I need to not have too many distractions.

I should run through things ahead of time more, especially new things I've not done before.

I need organised systems. I don't just mean I need a system, wouldn't it be good to be more efficient. I mean my life falls apart if I don't have one.

Kind language is essential. Boundaries and not too many demands, as far as possible.

I crave structure and routine, no I mean I really love it. My ideal scenario would be getting up in the dark at 5am and doing something creative with the hour before it gets light.

I need help with planning for difficult things. With a lot of effort I can learn stuff. Emotional disregulation is so hard for me to catch when it happens in me.

This may all sound obvious but I want to try and live by some of my operating rules rather than constantly trying to 'fix' myself.
