Sounds so bloody awful for you. How are things today?

She got sectioned. Sorry not sorry. She was out of control. I’m glad I did now. Police said I did right thing. I tend to agree now, sadly.

I have done this twice recently for DS15, he was not sectioned but the police were actually helpful finding him and in the following week both CAMHS and social services reached out.

How is your daughter now @Classy59 ?
What happens after sectioning. I fear that that will happen for my son at this rate and that it will not help at all.
Are you able to visit? Is she ok?

Classy59 · 28/11/2025 21:49

@anybodyI’m so very sorry to hear this. It’s typical that you have to be pushed to breaking point to be offered help.
My daughter is 19 now. She has BPD and PTSD from being in a Physche ward before. I wouldn’t recommend it but sometimes it’s necessary for their own safety xx

Yes, I’m able to visit. The hospital encourages me to. She’s not great but better than she was 7 days ago. She has to have DBT and break the self harming which has become an unhealthy coping mechanism…as bad as being an alcoholic or other addiction sadly 😔
