Getting an adhd diagnosis without someone who knew you as a child

I have just got my virtual assessment appointment and it’s in two weeks and asking that someone who knew me as a child be present, there’s also a form for them to fill out.
I am in my 40s now and don’t know anyone I knew as a child and don’t even live in the same area.
My dad has dementia and wouldn’t understand what he was being asked and my mum doesn’t agree with labels and would play it all down like she always does and ruin it.
I was bullied at school and didn’t make friends and moved away so there’s really nobody.
I have waited years for this appointment and it doesn’t sound like I’m going to be able to get anyone.
Is it likely they will still assess and diagnose me on my own?

It’s possible if you don’t have anyone. I didn’t want to involve my parents in my assessment for various reasons. My DH was my informant as he’s known me a long time, though after childhood, and I did the childhood questions in the assessment. I got a diagnosis for both ASD and ADHD. I think it would be harder for them to assess if you don’t have an informant at all but you don’t have to use someone from childhood if you don’t have anyone.

I was given another form. Weiss something? Ask your provider for an alternative.

Don't worry OP, I didn't have anyone either and was still able to get a diagnosis. Just explain your situation and they should be able to go ahead without x

Much the same as @Overthebow for me too. I wouldn't worry, they should be able to assess you without someone from your childhood.
