Not completely out of the blue. Was chatting at work with a guy who’s son is autistic - he has said previously he is pretty sure he is as well but no formal diagnosis.

we were talking about my daughter who is undergoing assessment at the moment for adhd / asd and I said it had made me wonder as I saw some of her traits in me.

He basically said it’s blatantly obvious you are, I’ve thought so for ages but would never say anything to anyone without them mentioning it first.

not quite sure how I feel. Tbf I am pretty sure my sister is and I do wonder about my dad so it wouldn’t exactly be an impossibility.

Have you listened to podcasts or read any books on the subject - I found I could identify with a lot of what they were saying

I read Gabor Matte’s Scattered Minds but some of his theories on the effect of difficult childhoods is not accepted now.
I read Alex Partridge’s book and now listen to his podcast ADHD Chatter.
