So always suspected but recently diagnosed with ADHD.
My dr, psychology etc suggest telling my employer and I’m wondering what the benefits are?
I’m a teacher and I do think I’m quite removed from my colleagues and don’t really connect with them at all. I don’t have particularly supportive head teacher, but they are prone to last minute work loads, changing plans frequently and being very unclear about what is expected. You’d think a school would be different but not so with the adults.
My question is, what if anything, is the point of sharing an ADHD diagnosis with my employer?
