Hi all

I am already dyslexic

I am doing a course for work and they want to screen me for ADHD and autism.

Can I ask if screening is positive and I see my go for a confirmation test. Is there an umbrella all three come under together. I know someone who has AuDHD which I am told is autism and ADHD but wondered is there an acronym for dyslexia, autism and dyslexia.

I read about being co diverse is that correct. Would like some info to discuss with my employer

Thanks

Just to mention - it's not a quick process through the GP. They'd have to refer you and there would be wait lists. The GP doesn't diagnose. You probably know this.

There isn't an anachronym for all 3 as far as I know, but I'm sure it's not that uncommon. I know someone with dyslexia and probably undiagnosed ADHD. I have ADHD (dx) and am on the wait list for an autism assessment. It sounds like your employer is pretty supportive. What info would you like? ADHD UK has a really good booklet for talking to an employer about ADHD. Its on their website if you Google it.

I just say neurodiverse (autism, ADHD, dyslexia & dyspraxia here). Don’t think there’s a specific term.
