I am about to start titration on a low dose of Elvanse. Feeling a little terrified after hearing the psychiatrist tell me all the side effects! Wondering if it’ll be worth it!

Has this drug changed anyone’s life?! That’s pretty much what I’m looking for. I might be asking too much!!!

@BloominNora I’ve heard a lot of people say it helps with their anxiety.

the dry mouth is annoying. Sometimes if I haven’t had a drink for a while, I find my tongue has stuck to the roof of my mouth!

I started 30mg elvanse on Tuesday. Was really scared as it's a stimulant and you hear mixed things. I am
combined type and and have severe anxiety and tics.
an hour after taking i heard birds singing and realised my mind was so quiet and serene. I then had a panic attack as I kept thinking I might drop dead. Sat outside with my mum and calmed down within a few hours I felt great and just cleaned my house. I usually have to write a step by step list to do this, on this occasion I didnt just methodically gutted my house.
iv been to the dump 3 times this week as I'm clearing things I haven't for years. I keep stopping and realising just how hard it's been for me before this medication. I didn't realise how hard it all was until I started this medication.
I can now go out and see friends and focus on them snd be present.
im not so easily angered. My anxiety is still a little
bit there but it goes quick, that is a habit and I'll need to retrain my brain but for the first time I feel like there is hope. On Monday I felt suicidal and so low I remember thinking why do I have to be like this.
another positive but unexpected side effect is that my blood pressure is now on the healthy range! How did that happen! I guess now I'm less stressed it has helped.

im not a breakfast person but u do eat a banana before meds in the morning as iv heard if you don't eat it can make it feel rougher. I honestly feel so much happier.
my sleep is improving and I'm feeling less frantic than I did before. I find walking is helping me as I'm now not drinking or binging and I still need something to burn off the energy.

life is just easier my only worry is that this will wear off.
I am due to go up to 50mg on Tuesday but I don't really want to as I'm doing so well on this.
I had about 2.5mg mounjaro left in my system
on Tuesday, iv not taken any this week, will see how I go. I may re start that at a later day but on a lower dose
