Lots of issues in our house. DH is coming to terms with the idea he might be ND. I think ASD. we are about to fork out for a private assessment for dd12 so he is going to have to wait.

Can anyone recommend a book he can read to start to make sense of it all?

Untypical by Pete Wharmby for him as is a male perspective.

Women & Girls with ASD by Sarah Hendrickx to understand his daughter.

Unmasking Autism is incredible, and I highly recommend it as a (diagnosed) AuDHDer. The audio book is read by the author as well
