ADHD Booster Dose Benefits

Does anyone have experience of taking 50mg of Elvanse or similar followed by a Dex booster late afternoon. Can you please tell me if you find this beneficial for the Elvanse ‘crash’, anxiety and emotional regulation.

I haven't done this but I was getting my Elvanse crash at about 3-4pm, it would coincide with my afternoon energy crash and go on for hours and zombify me.

Much better now I take 30mg on waking and then another 30mg at about midday.

Thank you. I had heard that is what some people do and it was helpful but that it wasn’t an official way of being prescribed Elvanse.

I'm not in the UK, so can't speak for the UK guidance, but it has been prescribed to me this way by a doctor.

It may be unusual to split an Elvanse dose because my doctor asked me to keep a record for a while of when I was taking it and when I would feel it wearing off. When I showed her my record she was surprised; it wears off for me after about 6 hours. She said this is unusual and I must be a fast metaboliser. So it might be something that isn't commonly done because it would last too long for most people.
