Starting titration - 40mg of elvanse - is this normal?

I'm starting titration (private psych) and have been prescribed 40mg of elvanse for the next 28 days.

This seems a high dose to start titration on - isn't it usually 30mg for a few weeks working up to 40mg?

I'm just slightly worried about having more side effects etc. but it's already paid for so not sure what I can do!

I started on 20mg and that was the normal I assumed. Go back to your prescriber and ask them. Forget about the money, your health is more important.
