I have just returned from a speech and therapy appointment for my 2 year old. They have referred us for autism pathway checking and also speech and language session.
In a nutshell my 2 year old has had some speech regression where he only now says about 3 words rest is all just babble. The therapist I saw today said quite bluntly that children who undergo speech regression do not see their speech return….I have been crying since. Is this true? Did anyone dc lose speech and find it returned ? Looking for some hope
