We're very very alike.
He keeps asking me if he has it.
I have to admit to being very sceptical. And have been telling him I don't think he has it.
It had never occurred to me that I may have it... but I procrastinate a lot, am very untidy, am exhausted often, am very addicted to my phone, have periods of high energy where I set out to get loads dine but then that passes...I think I do tick a lot of the boxes on online tests.
DS had some school anxiety after COVID which I just put down to have so much routine disrupted. Got him some counselling and he seemed better.
He's not doing anywhere near as well as he could at school. And always dislikes his teachers. I think he feels they don't like him.
He's very smart, but isn't trying as hard as he might.
He loves socialising and focuses on that instead. Just like me.
He keeps asking me if he can get tested. I don't know where to start. Do I just ask my Dr?
I'd really appreciate some advice.
