Reputable private adhd diagnosis London?

We are on the waiting list for DS and have been told it’s more than a year.

DH took two years+ to get a diagnosis.

I’m wondering about going private. But I want to choose someone thorough and robust. Any tips? I’ve heard the private diagnoses aren’t as actuate or good??

Are you aware that many GPs are refusing shared care for private diagnoses so if you go down that route you’ll have to keep paying for private prescriptions and annual reviews ongoing? If you want to access NHS prescriptions later you’ll likely have to be diagnosed again through NHS.

You could go through right to choose which is quicker than NHS local service, but is paid for by the NHS and more likely (but not guaranteed) to be accepted by your GP. And if shared care is refused you’d continue on as an NHS patient with the private provider.

And by you I mean your DS, using the passive ‘you’
