I'm going to run into my frenemy in the next few days. How should I respond?

This woman is annoying and narcissistic. I absolutely do not want to have anything to do with her ever again. Unfortunately I am going to have to share the space with her for a couple of hours each week.

This will be the first time I've run into her since she pulled her last trick and sent me off the radar for around six weeks. How should I respond? I'm not above ignoring someone, but I know her narcish ways will involve her loudly fussing around me in front of everyone 🙄

Any advice?

It's difficult to say @whywonttheyeattheirfood without knowing your relationship or why you'll be together Flowers

It's at church and she was never a proper friend. I just want to know if I should say "please leave me alone" or "we're no longer friends" or whatever. She was getting sly digs in at my mental health and appearance so I've jettisoned her, but will still run into her.

The MN favourite of "did you mean to be so rude?" might help you out here Flowers

She won't be rude though, she'll just be acting as though nothing has happened. How do you inform someone that you no longer regard them as a friend and they're to just leave you alone?
