ASD therapy, which is the best alternative to CBT?

Talking therapy as CBT doesn't seem the best strategy for my teen DD, especially after school when she is already drained.

What alternatives would you suggest in terms of therapies or simply new activities? She struggles with social and communication, reading and interpreting emotions.

She likes animals, music, anime, movies...

Many thanks.

Games like Dungeons and Dragons are good for autistic teens. They allow you to roleplay and practise social skills in a safe environment.

My DD likes things which involve movement and being outside in nature. For her that means dance classes (with others but not relying on social interaction), drama classes (everyone is acting and using imagination) and swimming outdoors (sensory bliss on many levels).

Movement and being out in nature work for her, could be found in lots of ways, so those are just examples.
