ADHD assessment

I have been on the NHS ADHD waiting list for 18months and finally have my 2hour assessment tomorrow. What will they ask me? Should I jot down any stories about childhood? Do they have a standard set of questions? Or is it more of a conversation type thing?

(I know, I know, I should have posted this well in advance of my appointment rather than 12 hours before. But you know... time management/organisation difficulties and all that lol!) 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also, why does it take 2 hours!?

So the appointment only lasted 1hr 15mins instead of the 2hours I was told. And she didn't seem to ask me very in-depth questions. I have just had my diagnosis today and they said I don't have it. However, I strongly disagree and I will be asking for a second opinion, because the lady who did my assessment just didn't seem interested at all and she didn't ask me in-depth questions.

She asked me what my mum's pregnancy was like with me, any complications etc. She asked what was I like as a baby/toddler and growing up. But there just didn't seem to be any follow-up questions to delve further into why I suspected I had ADHD.

She was doing the assessment from home on a video call so she couldn't see my hands/feet fidgeting and she didn't ask me any questions from the ASRS-v1.1 symptom checklist at all.

There wasn't any questions like, "tell me in your own words why you suspect you have ADHD".
Or "tell me about all of your hobbies growing up and why you couldn't stick with them?"
She didn't even ask "give me examples of times when you displayed symptoms. How often does that happen? Tell me more."

All-in-all I was very disappointed with how mitigated it was.
