Concerta and other drugs questions for adhd adults

So I have been on concerta now for about a week and have upped my dose. I was previoulsy on sertraline and currently tapering. My psychiatrist did prescribe mirtazapine to take at night while coming off the sertaline but I only realised yesterday that is what I was meant to do and have not taken any. I looked up the side effects and not a fan to be blunt. Has anyone just NOT taken it and was there anything that happened? I just feel currently a bit 'woo' on the concerta and dont really want to add anything else to my system plus I am not finding it hard to fall asleep anyway so just wondered if I can make my own decision on this one?

Hi, I think if you are sleeping fine and your mood is good you could probably go without the mitazapine. I would be honest with your dr about this though.
Coming off your anti-depressant while titrating onto adhd meds is a good thing if you can manage it, as the adhd meds and anti-depressant together can cause serotonin syndrome xx
