Adult ADHD assessment

Wondering if anyone can recommend a provider that can do an online assessment?

also - I'm hoping for an assessment that can be done without an observer or involving my parents. My mum has complex issues, looking back I wonder if she has adhd herself as well as mental health challenges and alcoholism. I really don't want to open the can of worms to recover my school reports from her house, if they could even be found 30 years on.

DH not the most sympathetic! Good marriage but on certain things I'd like to be independent. I already do ok at life but it feels like by the skin of my teeth, I just want to tackle this alone (not ashamed of having adhd at all, if I do!)

You do not need to involve your parents at all. I am 46 and recently diagnosed. I filled in the online forms and then went to a clinical psychologist which is then followed by a psychiatrist. I am in Ireland but I am fairly sure it is similar the world over. You need to talk about your childhod as much as you can do in order to see if you struggled as a child but you would not need school records or anything.

I did have someone involved and i totally forgot! I was just thinking about it a minute ago and how DH got the teens to add their perspective too on some sheets of paper and they put it all together in the form!!
